Jennifer Hanselman is the mother of Ohio’s first set of sextuplets and their energetic big brother. Return of the Party of Nine: Life with Sextuplets + One is her second book about her unusual family and how they cope with six opinionated preschoolers. The book was written in 15-minute intervals between potty accidents and playroom fights. Her first book, Party of Nine: The Triumphs and Traumas of Raising Sextuplets + One, told the story of her six-pack throughout their infant and toddler years.
Jennifer lives in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, with her long-suffering husband Keith, sextuplets Alex, Logan, Kyle, Lucy, Sophia and Isabella, big brother Connor, and four crazed cats.
After the birth of her sextuplets, Jennifer “retired” from her former career as an advertising writer. She received a bachelor’s degree in English and married Keith on the same day they graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.
She has been changing diapers for more than seven years and dreams of the day she can skip the diaper aisle for good.
